Construction Craftsperson

The Construction Craftsperson is responsible for performing skilled commercial and industrial construction tasks with a focus on quality, safety, and productivity. This role supports field operations by executing hands‑on work across concrete, carpentry, steel, sitework, and general building activities. Craftsperson’s are expected to work efficiently, follow direction, and contribute to a safe, organized jobsite.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform skilled construction tasks such as concrete forming/finishing, framing, layout, equipment operation, and installation work

• Read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and task instructions

• Operate hand tools, power tools, and small equipment safely and effectively

• Assist with material handling, staging, and site organization

• Follow all company safety policies, OSHA standards, and jobsite procedures

• Work collaboratively with foremen, superintendents, and other trades

• Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient work area

• Identify hazards and report unsafe conditions immediately

• Support project schedule goals through reliable attendance and consistent productivity

Qualifications

• Proven experience in commercial or industrial construction

• Ability to read basic construction drawings and follow layout

• Strong understanding of jobsite safety practices

• Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs, work outdoors, and perform repetitive tasks

• Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and strong work ethic

• Valid driver’s license preferred
